Visual Acuity
At Art of Optiks, we employ the Snellen Eye Chart to assess your visual acuity and the sharpness of your vision. During the visual acuity test, you’ll sit at a standardized distance and be asked to identify varying-sized symbols or letters. As you progress down the chart, the symbols and letters become progressively smaller, making them harder and harder to read.
Refraction + Binocular Vision
During the refraction process, our skilled eye doctors at Art of Optiks determine the best prescription lens to correct your eyesight. During the assessment, the doctor will help you pick from a few options, depending on which improves your vision the most. Slit Lamp Evaluation

What sets our slit lamps apart is that each one has a DSLR MVC camera. This allows us to capture images and help you learn as much about your own eyes as possible. By utilizing these images, our eye doctors can easily identify conditions such as cataracts, conjunctivitis, glaucoma, melanoma, and carcinomas.
