Stephanie is not only Art of Optiks’ owner, operator and buyer but has also been an American Board of Opticianry certified optician since 1997.
A 1992 honors graduate of Culver Academies, Stephanie’s original areas of interest were speech pathology and audiology. During college she took a job as an optician to help make ends meet. A lifelong optical love affair was born.
In 2001, Stephanie and her husband, Dr. Timothy Haupert, brought together their combined knowledge and love of all things optical to form Art of Optiks.
Stephanie has been quoted in numerous national optical publications and has been featured on several local news programs. She has been featured twice in Crave: The Urban Girl’s Manifesto, featuring the top 100 women-owned businesses in the Twin Cities. In 2012, Stephanie was named one of the top 50 most influential women in the optical industry in top national eyewear trade publication Vision Monday.
