Art of Optiks is located in downtown Wayzata along the waterfront of Lake Minnetonka. Parking is available on the street, in the lot on the corner of Superior Blvd & East Lake Street as well as in the new municipal parking ramp located directly behind Art of Optiks on Mill Street.

Art of Optiks – Edina is located in the heart of the 50th and France neighborhood on France Ave between Anthropologie and Caribou Coffee. There is customer parking located directly behind and underneath our building. The parking can be accessed at the corner of France Ave and 49 1/2 Street or on 50th between Anthropologie and Sakana Sushi.

Having experienced a corneal abrasion on a Friday evening I was in pain and couldn’t imagine I’d find an ophthalmologist on a Saturday morning but I was seen at Art of Optics in Wayzata. I was able to make an afternoon appointment but they called back saying that Dr. Hollenbach would see me right away as he new how painful that would be.Everyone in the office was kind yet professional and my issue was taken care of. I left the office a happy camper and have been telling my friends what a good experience I had. Thank you Dr. Hollenbach and staff.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years for eye care and eye glasses. I’ve seen both Dr. Tim and Dr. Whitman for my eye care. They are both exceptionally good and professional doctors. They have the state of art equipment for checking your eyes. They have treated my glaucoma and kept it manageable for many years.Oh, and let’s not forget their selection of eye wear! The front desk staff are top-notch!! They are very kind and make you feel welcome and are helpful to get you signed in on their ipad. The updated office is beautiful and I am still impressed by all the state of the art equipment and incredibly knowledgeable doctors who keep a good pulse on my eye health and how to stay ahead of any future issues. There are places that are a bit cheaper and closer to where I live but this place is WORTH every penny and the drive.

However, it was necessary that I get an eye exam and I am so glad I chose to do so at Art of Optiks. As always, the entire staff was very professional. I was having problems with my vision and feeling very apprehensive about the changes I had noticed. The care and attention to detail that is always provided at Art of Optiks is second to none. I received a very thorough eye exam. Both Lindsay and Dr. Tim took time to explain everything that was going on with each exam. When we were finishing, Dr. Tim explained what all of the facets of the exam told him and how the prescription changes could correct it. He put my mind at ease once again! The best eye experience I think I've ever had. I have avoided going to see an eye doctor for a few years due to having some pretty terrible experiences elsewhere, but this place is great. They took the time to explain my test results, showed the scans to me and explained what I was experiencing, allowed time to ask questions and thoroughly answer, and both the student doctor and Dr. Hollenbach were thorough, kind and gentle.This location also carries some very snazzy eyewear, which was a fun experience trying on! The woman helping me on the floor was fun and really hyped me up while trying different styles, haha. I ended up with a pair of sleek Matsuda glasses that I'm very excited and actually looking forward to wear.

Really great selection and service! I was looking for a limited run pair of frames that I couldn't find anywhere else, and they actually had them in stock. Blythe was very helpful with picking out lenses and getting the frames correctly sized, and they wound up being ready almost a full week before I expected them to be. The frames actually cost a little less than I expected as well, which was another nice surprise. I came in a second time to get them adjusted again after a week or so and someone else helped me, and they as well were very friendly and helpful. I almost never write reviews, but I have to say that Art of Optiks is that rare treasure that should be held up as the ideal of remarkable customer service and really killer inventory. They carry eyeglass frames that are unique, many one of a kind, made all around the world by artisans using materials like wood and horn and sterling silver, etc. You won't find anyone else wearing your eyeglasses if you bought them at Art of Optiks.I just purchased 3 new pairs of glasses, and 2 were shipped to me. The reason? The optimagicians didn't like some small detail or other so they are having the lenses in 1 pair remade for me. This small "flaw" is something I would never have seen, but their attention to detail is complete.Don't worry about not shopping with your best friend to find the perfect pair. The staff at Art of Optiks will tell it to you straight and help select a pair that is just right for you. This is a rare gem of an optical boutique and the only place that I buy eyeglasses.
